Figuig, one of the oldest oases in the most south-eastern end of Morocco, fell into oblivion when, by an enemy with the neighbouring country, the borders were closed and thus one of the most important pilgrimage routes to the Mecca in North Africa. Immigration was the solution. The men left in search of sustenance and the women stay as the fundamental pillar of the oases. A world with very few expectations that offer them a reduced and traditional reality.
