UP BY DOWN
Montse is a 30 years old woman who recently achieved one of the most important steps of her adult life: to become independent. She lives with her roommate, Gloria. Together they organise their daily life, they share their house duties and, little by little, they build their own home. Montse, as Gloria, has Down Syndrome. One more chromosome than usual in each of Montse’s cells did not stop her from becoming self-sufficient and normalizing her life as any other women. Montse’s domestic life shows us that there are more things that unite people than separate them. Beyond the apparent differences and peculiarities of each individual, we share the same essence: being human been with a normal life.
